Specialist Support That Makes a Difference

EFSS provides targeted mentoring, early intervention and specialist safeguarding support for young people aged 11–16. We work alongside secondary schools, local authorities and social care professionals to improve engagement, safety, resilience and outcomes.

1-to-1 Youth Mentoring

Personalised mentoring focused on attendance, behaviour, engagement, confidence and positive decision-making.

Targeted Group Interventions

Structured small-group programmes responding to identified needs, emerging risks and shared challenges.

Flexible Support Options

Support can be commissioned flexibly according to individual need, circumstances and level of risk.

Regular Planned Support — scheduled sessions tailored to agreed outcomes.
Intensive & Higher-Risk Support — intensive day support, 2-to-1 provision and 24-hour support, including waking nights.
Responsive Intervention — emergency or one-off intervention and panel-led     referrals.

EFSS works alongside local authorities and social care professionals to provide flexible, targeted support for children, young people and families with complex and emerging needs, including those at risk of family or placement breakdown.

Our experienced team works collaboratively within multi-agency plans, providing specialist intervention, clear progress updates and outcome-focused support tailored to each young person.

Working as Part of the Professional Network

Effective support rarely happens in isolation. EFSS works collaboratively with schools, social care and other professionals to ensure our intervention complements wider safeguarding, education and care plans.

We can contribute to Child in Need and Child Protection meetings, education reviews, multi-agency meetings, professional visits, placement planning and transition planning.

Where required, EFSS can provide progress reports covering engagement, interventions delivered, achievements, emerging concerns and recommendations for ongoing support.
